Artie Lange at the Comic Strip!

    Sunday, May 31st, 2009

The great comedy superstar Artie Lange swung by the Comic Strip Live last weeks for a couple nights to try out some new material for an upcoming CD taping. Very fun.

    Limousine Lunacy!

    Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

I don’t have a lot of money, so I don’t like to watch those reality dating shows. I just can’t relate to them.
Like on The Bachelorette last week, the chick voted this guy out of the house and he gets taken away in the limo they interview him being all sad saying “I really thought […]

    Merry Memorial Day!

In honor of our fallen heroes today, here is a picture that I took a few years ago that I really like.

    Happy Memorial Day!

“The Things We Do For Love”, May 30th

    Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

May 30th! 11:00pm! Comedy Central! The world premiere of Pete Correale’s first one-hour special “The Things We Do For Love”.

I had the amazing opportunity to watch Pete run this hour ELEVEN TIMES in preparation for the special and it truly is a smart, entertaining, clever and most importantly hilarious hour of comedy. Highly recommended.

Need this be spelled out to us?

Yesterday I was in my kitchen making some Kraft macaroni and cheese (big surprise) and on the back of the box was an advertisement for a new Mac N Cheese variation. The ad boasted “Made with 50% Whole Grain.”
Really? Did they REALLY need to include “made with” prior to the “whole grain?”
    Was somebody at Kraft […]

    LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!!

She was just sitting there! In front of a ritzy apartment building on E. 86th St! Just laying around! She had to be mine. I hauled her on by back all the way home to the Bronx. She was heeeeaaaaaavvy! On the train! And the bus! Now I am sitting on her! […]

    Harlem Heights, Huh?!?

    Friday, May 8th, 2009

So B.E.T. (the station that represents ME!) has finally found their own “Dawson’s Creek” in the form of the show “Harlem Heights” (where they are working hard, playing harder and living it up…UPTOWN!). In order to promote the soon-to-be-canceled dramedy, the oft-award-heralded network released two subway banners with different pictures of the cast in various […]

Adam Attempts to Sell The Un-Sell-Able Joke

    Friday, May 8th, 2009

Even I have to admit…this WAS rather tasteless. And it probably serves as a big reminder of why jokes that you might get away with telling to other comedians in the lobby or green room, don’t often translate as well to the stage.
To set the scene, prior to this joke, the crowd at the Comic […]
